A home decor company based in Little London is seeking a passionate and creative Kitchen Designer to join their team. This role involves working closely with customers to create innovative kitchen designs and requires confidence with design software such as AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and must be flexible to work during weekends. Competitive salary and extensive benefits offered, including generous holiday allowance and discounts.
As we continue to grow we are looking for a new Kitchen Designer to work with our driven and enthusiastic Fulham store team. Our designers are interior and kitchen specialists who use their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for Kitchens, to bedrooms and all rooms in between.
Designing a kitchen is like throwing a party, you want to create the mood, get the ingredients right, make sure there is a flow of people and room to prepare space to dine, drink and dance. Our designers think about how it will be used and who will be using it. Whether it's the dream of reluctant gourmet or budding chef, or for a hungry family of four, we design to reflect these differing requirements.
You'll find our store in the heart of Guildford, sat on the historic cobbled high street. It's a sash-window fronted Georgian property that was, once upon a time, a bank. A little smaller than most of our other stores (although watch this space as we have big plans for the future), Neptune Guildford is nevertheless full of character - and many of our designs.
Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High and Keep It Real.
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so it's important you'll have flexibility to work during the week and at weekends also.
You'll ideally have a design-related qualification and a passion for interiors, you'll also bring confidence with using design software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft packages. You'll also have exceptional communication and organisational skills, be highly proactive, with a detail-oriented mindset and a flair for creativity. You'll also need a full UK driving license and the ability to travel to customers' homes.
Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune design and make pieces for your whole home. Recognised for our exacting standards, design-led aesthetic and expert craftsmanship, we're perhaps most known for our kitchens - with heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune's trademark 'look' is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We're also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
Neptune's goal is to ensure we have a diverse and inclusive work environment, where all of our employees have equal access to opportunities and everyone's voices are heard.
