Kitchen Assistant - Outskirts of Penrith

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team just outside Penrith. This role is ideal for someone with previous kitchen experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Hours and Pay
  • Any 5 days out of 7
  • Shift times: 7.00am to 3.30pm
  • Pay rate: £12.75 per hour
Main Duties
  • Preparing ingredients and supporting chefs with food prep
  • Cooking meals such as fish and chips, lasagne, burgers and other classic dishes
  • Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and following food safety procedures
  • Cleaning down kitchen areas, equipment and utensils to ensure a safe and tidy workspace
  • Working as part of a team to make sure service runs smoothly
About You
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen is essential
  • Confident in basic cooking and food preparation
  • A full driving licence and your own transport are required due to the rural location
  • Good work ethic, reliable and punctual
  • Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
