Job summary

A leading field service company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Key Account Manager to provide fluid control solutions to industrial utility customers. This field-based role will focus on managing existing accounts, relighting dormant ones, and attending trade shows. This full-time position offers a basic salary up to £70,000 with an OTE of £95,000 and additional benefits including hybrid work options.

Key Account Manager

Providing Fluid Control Solutions to construction industrial utility customers.

  • Up to £70,000 Basic salary
  • UNCAPPED Commission 3% Based on Sales
  • OTE £95,000
  • Package includes car, pension, holidays etc.
  • Location: South East London & Greater London / Maidenhead office
  • Field Sales role 2-4 Days on the road / week
  • 90% Existing Accounts Focused on increasing spend and relighting dormant accounts
  • Handover with current Senior KAM who is retiring (Expected Handover period 6-12 Weeks DOE)

The Role
  • Field Based position providing mechanical and electrical pumps service / maintenance solutions to customers across the commercial industrial infrastructure construction utility industries.
  • Key focus on developing Existing accounts.
  • Also a focus on relighting dormant accounts.
  • Visit trade shows and represent the company’s product / service offering.
  • Stay updated on market trends and opportunities.
  • Revenue Driven Targets Achievable and Realistic.
  • Hybrid opportunity available.
  • Occasional operational input managing engineers and helping schedule work for key accounts.
Experience Desired
  • Technical Engineering Experience: Pumps, Seals, Valves, Filters, Pumping filtration water treatment pressurisation units, booster sets.
  • Sales Experience Existing Accounts and New business preferable.
  • Engineering qualifications or experience (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Manufacturing etc.).
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team.
  • Willingness & capability to travel.
