JOB OVERVIEWKent College houses The Great Hall, an award winning 600 seat auditorium on the Senior School Site. Alongside a regular programme of college shows and events ranging from Music, Drama and Variety, the venue welcomes numerous local and national performing arts groups each year. The Junior technician plays a key role in the team to help support in the delivery of our shows and events for the College. You will have relevant recent experience in a technical theatre environment. The team is made up of a Senior Theatre Technician, this role and a bank of casual events staff and casual technicians.
Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train. The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. The position is 32 hours per week - weekdays, weekends and evenings (rota basis).
