A prominent aerospace engineering company in Bristol is seeking a Junior Systems Safety & Reliability Engineer to support the development activities of critical systems. This role involves generating safety assessments and collaborating with engineers and suppliers. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and a solid understanding of safety processes. We are looking for a Junior Systems Safety & Reliability Engineer to join our Team, in Filton. The Role: Support the development activities associated with the ATA28 (Fuel) and ATA32 (Landing Gear) systems, subsystems and equipment, including coordination with suppliers and flight tests. Generate and review Safety Assessment and Analyses for Aircraft Systems (FHA, pSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments).
Work with other ATA28 and ATA32 Engineers and signatories along with interfaces such as Systems and Structures interfaces, Certification specialists, Chief Engineers, Procurement and Vendors. Support Airbus Commercial ATA28 and ATA32 System activities, including introducing new functionality to systems, ensuring robust cascade of requirements to the system. Support phase reviews and Validation and Verification activities.
This is whilst ensuring activity meets Safety and technical needs, following the appropriate processes and procedures, demonstrating strong requirement adherence and V&V.
