Overview

We\'re working with a specialist fire protection and fit-out contractor delivering high-quality projects in complex, highly regulated environments such as airports and secure facilities. With a strong reputation for compliance, innovation and safe delivery, they\'re looking to strengthen their team with a Fire Stopping Site Manager / Junior Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in passive fire protection who\'s ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a full Project Manager role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead fire-stopping works on site including penetration sealing, fire boarding, intumescent coatings and fire door upgrades.
  • Ensure work meets fire safety regulations, certification standards and company quality procedures.
  • Supervise day-to-day site activities, including H&S compliance, RAMS, toolbox talks and quality checks.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to keep projects on programme and within budget.
  • Assist with project planning, resource allocation and reporting to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support certification / handover packs.
About You
  • Solid background in fire stopping or passive fire protection.
  • Previous experience supervising works or managing small projects.
  • Good knowledge of fire safety standards and construction H&S regulations.
  • Ability to read drawings / specifications and co-ordinate with other trades.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid CSCS card (SSSTS / SMSTS advantageous).
  • Full UK driving licence
