Overview

Junior Maintenance Engineer (Training on Electrical) £29,000 - £31,000 + Overtime OTE £40k + 25 Days Holiday + 4 Days a Week + Benefits. Location: Leicester.

Role

Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical qualification such as an NVQ, BTEC, T Level or similar and looking for a 4-day working week with extensive training to become a fully qualified, expert Machine Tool Engineer? This workshop-based role involves fault-finding, repairing and servicing high-tech automated manufacturing machinery. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of CNC machinery, primarily planned maintenance with some reactive work, in a workshop environment.

You will gain full support from the Maintenance Manager, plus machine tool manufacturer training to bolster your skills. The company has a long history in the industry and focuses on delivering high-quality products to automotive brands.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance in a busy workshop.
• Work on a wide range of CNC machines with full training provided.
• Follow a Monday to Thursday schedule from 7:00 am to 4:45 pm.
• Enjoy plenty of optional overtime, paid at 1.2x.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and use manufacturer training to develop expertise.
