Overview

We’re offering a unique opportunity for a Junior Electrical Harness Technician to join our expanding Electrical Department. This is your opportunity to develop hands-on skills and grow your career at the heart of a team delivering high-performance competition cars.

As a Junior Electrical Harness Technician, you will work alongside our experienced technicians to support the manufacture, assembly, and inspection of bespoke electrical harnesses. This is a practical, detail-focused role to someone with a passion for engineering and a desire to learn within a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assembly and preparation of electrical harnesses for our competition cars.
  • Learn to read and interpret wiring diagrams and build documentation and procedures.
  • Support continuity testing and basic fault-finding procedures.
  • Maintain department cleanliness, tool care and organisational standards.
  • Work closely with our experienced technicians and Electrical Supervisor to develop your knowledge of motorsport-grade materials and techniques.
Qualifications
  • We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
  • Interested in motorsport and electrical systems.
  • Highly organised, and delivery focused, with a good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to learn, take instruction, and develop new skills.
  • Good communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • A relevant qualification in electrical or automotive engineering (e.g. apprenticeship, BTEC, NVQ, or equivalent).
    • Previous workshop or hands-on experience (even as part of education or hobby projects).
    • Familiarity with motorsport connectors, wiring tools, or harness materials is desirable.
