  • Helping to keep IT equipment, systems, and accounts running smoothly.
  • Supporting the team with day‑to‑day IT tasks and ongoing improvements.
What you’ll do

You don’t need to have done all of this before — full training and support will be provided — but you’ll get involved with:

  • Logging and resolving basic IT support requests via the ticketing system.
  • Setting up laptops, desktops, and peripherals for new and existing staff.
  • Assisting with user account administration and password resets.
  • Helping with office moves, equipment deployment, and basic hardware tasks.
  • Supporting audio‑visual and meeting room technology.
  • Updating simple technical documentation and user guides.
  • Supporting the IT team with equipment checks, inventory, and supplier liaison.
What to bring

Key skills and attributes

  • A basic understanding of Windows operating systems and IT fundamentals.
  • An interest in networks, cloud services, or IT infrastructure (training provided).
  • Good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude.
  • A willingness to learn, take instruction, and grow your technical skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
Education & Certifications
  • HNC in Computing, Level 6 Advanced Computing, or similar IT qualification.
  • Any Microsoft fundamentals certifications (e.g. AZ‑900, SC‑900) are a bonus, but not essential.
Experience
  • No professional IT experience required.
  • Any part‑time work, voluntary work, college projects, or personal IT interests are welcome.
