Junior Commissioning Engineer - Electrical - Staffordshire based + Travel - Permanent - £35-45K + bonus + 30 days holiday + hybrid when in office + BUPA

Samuel Frank is recruiting an electrically biased Junior Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established, specialist engineering business located in central Staffordshire.

The role is suitable for a Degree qualified Engineer with around 1-4 years of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Phase 1: prepare and write all commissioning related documentation, performed on a hybrid basis from the Stafford office.
  • Phase 2: based on customer site in Berkshire, test and commission electrical systems.
  • On site, pre-agreed overtime will be paid on top of a daily allowance (plus travel & accommodation costs).
  • Learn and complete key stages in the commissioning stages of project delivery; work with high calibre, seasoned professionals in both office and site environments.
  • Opportunity to pursue a career in commissioning; role may suit an engineer with some electrical design experience wanting to evolve into a site-based/commissioning specialist.
  • UK driving licence is an essential requirement.
Requirements / Qualifications

  • Approximately 1-4 years of relevant experience.
  • British passport and not hold dual nationality (security clearance requirement).
  • UK driving licence – essential.
Benefits & Other Details
  • Location: Staffordshire with travel to Berkshire; Mondays and Fridays from home when in Stafford, otherwise office-based for the rest of the week.
