Job summary

A London Market consultancy is seeking a dedicated Junior Analyst to support the claims team in handling notifications to settlement. This 6-month contract requires claims administration, system processing, and responding to internal and external queries. Familiarity with insurance operations is desirable. The position offers flexibility with hybrid and remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Some claims experience within the Lloyd’s/London market or insurance operations desirable.
  • Basic familiarity with ECF/CLASS or willingness to learn.
  • Good IT literacy including MS Office; strong organisational skills.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

G MASS Consulting are seeking a dedicated professional to join one of our London Market Managing Agent clients as a consultant, on an initial 6‑month contract.

This role will be to support the claims team with the end‑to‑end handling of claims from notification through to settlement, providing market support across Central Operations. The Junior Analyst will assist with claims administration, system processing (including ECF/CLASS), payment processing and queries, and will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full claims process from receipt of claim notifications through settlement, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining accurate claims files and records in internal systems.
  • Prepare and submit advice and collection documentation to the market via CLASS/ECF, and follow up for agreement.
  • Liaise with the Insurance Accounts or Finance team to support timely claims payments and accurate posting.
  • Handle routine internal and external queries from brokers, underwriters, clients, and Central Ops.
  • Assist with periodic reporting, statistics, and basic analysis as required.
  • Support aggregation reporting (e.g., BDX) and bordereaux activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with market and internal policies, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Some claims experience within the Lloyd’s/London market or insurance operations desirable.
  • Basic familiarity with ECF/CLASS or willingness to learn.
  • Good IT literacy including MS Office; strong organisational skills.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, professional and collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and escalat[e] issues where necessary.
