Fantastic opportunity for a Junior CAD Technician to join a successful family run business within the fire protection industry.

Starting Salary: £25,000.00 per annum (there will be progression)

Location: South Molton

Hours: Monday - Friday

As a Junior CAD Technician you'll have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned designers, learning the ropes and honing your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is the perfect opportunity for a school or college leaver to kickstart their career in the design engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience in the world of CAD design

Preferred Requirements
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD in either 2D, 3D or Revit design principles
  • Strong mathematical and physics knowledge to support your technical work
  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues to assist the senior engineer with ongoing projects.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and meet deadlines, with a methodical and detail-oriented approach
Preferred Qualifications
  • A grade C or above in mathematics, demonstrating your aptitude for the technical aspects of the role
  • Relevant experience in a similar engineering or design-focused environment, either through school or college projects, internships or previous employment
  • A passion for the engineering and manufacturing industry, with an interest in building systems
