Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team in Andover. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing experience or an electrical wholesaling background who is looking to develop their career in procurement.

Main Duties

  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time
  • Order and manage materials for ongoing projects
  • Coordinate with electricians in the field to ensure timely deliveries
  • Liaise with suppliers and negotiate lead times where needed
  • Work closely with internal teams to support smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels

Skills and Knowledge

  • 1–2 years’ purchasing, procurement, or buying experience or experience in an electrical wholesaler environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000 per annum
  • Hours: between 8:00am – 6:00pm – 40 hours
  • 21 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Supportive team environment with scope for progression
