Job description

A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Designer within Baby / Childrenswear to join a highly successful supplier to large multiples, wholesalers and e-traders. Graduates with a minimum of intern-level experience are welcome to apply.

The Role
  • Design baby / childrenswear for large multiples, wholesalers and e-traders.
  • Creating briefs with the design team in order to generate new ranges.
  • Ensuring ranges are age appropriate and on trend whilst keeping to customer requirements.
  • Following samples through to production stage.
  • Working to critical paths.
  • Liaising with factories in the Far East.
  • Attending meetings and presenting ideas.
  • Working on briefs, technical packs and trend boards.
  • Taking part in market research.
Requirements
  • Experience in baby / children's wear for both girls and boys.
  • A minimum of graduate level with a minimum of intern-level experience.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
