We welcome candidates experienced in representing clients involved in investigations and prosecutions related to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety, Motor Prosecutions, and Environmental Crime, who are interested in developing a career in Regulatory Crime. Ongoing training and investment will be provided.

The Team

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a top 20 international law firm with one of the UK's largest SHE departments, recognized in Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 for Health & Safety and Environmental law.

As part of our close-knit team, you will have the chance to become a specialist in this dynamic legal area, handling a varied and sometimes high-profile caseload. This role offers experience in criminal defense within a corporate environment.

Our lawyers serve national clients, including corporations and insurers. You will join a team of 16 fee earners managing cases from investigation through enforcement to court proceedings. Typical cases include corporate manslaughter, health & safety prosecutions, and environmental crimes. Due to the nature of our work, you will also gain experience representing clients before the Coroners Court.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • 0-2 years PQE with experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Crime, Motor Crime, or Fire Safety.
  • Bright, ambitious, and highly determined.
  • Adaptable to a demanding, fast-paced team environment.
  • Willing to travel across England and Wales; full driving license required.
  • Enjoys tackling complex legal issues and expanding knowledge.
  • Confident and effective communicator.
  • Committed to delivering professional client service, including compliance with SLAs and reporting requirements.
