Salary: £40,000 per annum

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Joiner on behalf of one of our clients. Applications from ex‑military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood, laminate, and other materials.
  • Install doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, cabinets, and partitions.
  • Build and assemble temporary structures such as scaffolding and site hoardings.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Ensure work is completed to specification and complies with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Assist with site clean‑up and material handling as required.
