We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to work on a large-scale programme. The role involves building and supporting biometric systems, working on live production environments, and leading technical development using modern Java and Spring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Java/Spring applications
• Design and build microservices and integrations
• Support live systems and resolve production issues
• Work closely with Agile teams and stakeholders
• Ensure code quality and best practices

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA
• Microservices architecture
• REST & SOAP web services
• PostgreSQL and JPA (Hibernate)
• Messaging with ActiveMQ
