Overview

IT Procurement Manager (6 Month FTC)

Location: London, UK (2 days in office, 3 days home office)

Salary: £400 - £700 day rate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and ambitious IT Procurement Manager to join a globally recognised pharmaceutical company based in London.

In this role, you will have the chance to drive strategic procurement initiatives across a diverse and dynamic organisation. You will collaborate with global teams to optimise sourcing processes, negotiate contracts, and contribute to the company’s overarching procurement goals. This is an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals who are eager to make an impact and gain exposure to large-scale, complex procurement projects within a world-class organization.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting with sourcing strategies and procurement activities within the IT category, ensuring alignment with the company’s global objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from strategic sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and drive efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service levels and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in procurement practices.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in indirect procurement, specifically in IT, ideally within a large-scale or global environment. However, other strategic indirect procurement backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive value and innovation through supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • A clear desire for progression and an ambition to develop your career within a leading global firm.
