Responsibilities
  • Be front line support on the service desk, answering phone calls and working tickets through our ticketing system, supporting our clients with their IT issues.
  • Provide technical fixes and advice for our customer base, working through our remote management software to access customer machines.
  • Provide outstanding customer service on a daily basis, being personable towards our customers ensuring their requests are dealt with promptly.
  • Creating documentation for the Service Desk Knowledge base to help reduce time taken on tricky tickets.
  • Work alongside our IT operations and security teams, supporting where needed and helping with basic issues and requests.
  • Working towards a set of monthly KPI’s which help the service desk improve on a monthly basis
Personal qualities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload closely.
  • Ability to explain IT issues to non-IT users with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstration of success in a multi-functional role
  • Located in commutable distance to Woking.
  • Computer literate - working knowledge of office applications.
  • A drive to improve knowledge and skills
