Location: London (2 days per week)

Rate: 600-650GBPAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced IT/ERP/Workday Project Manager to oversee several in-flight initiatives focused on Workday Payroll. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT projects, particularly within HRIS or payroll systems, and will bring a structured, delivery-focused approach to project management.You will be responsible for ensuring that milestones are met, risks are managed, stakeholders are engaged, and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery of multiple concurrent Workday Payroll projects through their full lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects adhere to internal governance standards and methodologies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners as needed.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, change management, and adoption strategies.
- Champion best practices and continuous improvement in project delivery.
Skills and Experience Required:- Minimum of 8 years' experience managing complex IT projects across multiple sectors, preferably with a focus on HR, Payroll, or Financial systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving Workday Payroll (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
Qualifications:- Professional Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills:- Workday certification (nice to have, but not mandatory).
- Experience in change management and organizational readiness activities.
- Previous experience working within regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
