A national health service provider in Tees Valley is seeking an IT/data administrator to assist with the annual clinical recall process. Responsibilities include scanning, monitoring emails, and managing patient registrations using SystmOne. The ideal candidate should have experience in the NHS environment and possess strong IT skills. We are looking for an IT/data administrator who has experience of SystemOne clinical system. We have a vacancy for the right candidate to assist with the annual recall process for clinical annual reviews, setting up new systems to make this process more streamlined along with other data roles and responsibilities. In addition, we would like to progress with introducing AI technology into the Practice and we need your help in doing so. Other general day to day roles will include: scanning, workflow, searches and reporting, online patient registration, producing a practice newsletter on a quarterly basis, whilst keeping abreast of GDPR, and data protection.
Scanning and Workflow duties: scanning and coding of information from third party letters and other communications received using the Practice clinical system, SystmOne.
Monitoring of the Practice email accounts ensuring emails are responded to, forwarded to the most appropriate person or department and actioned.
Monitoring and processing of econsults using the Econsult Hub system.
Chronic disease management using S1 recall system, inviting patients in for their regular reviews using Ardens and S1.
Assisting with smear targets.
Performing S1 searches as and when required for clinical information.
Assist with the reports and searches for childhood immunisations, working collaboratively with the nursing team and other IT team members.
Be responsible for QOF throughout the year, ensuring targets are on track and initiate any work required including the running of reports and inviting patients to attend.
Be responsible for the online registrations for patients requiring access, including SystmOnline and NHS apps.
And other duties designated to the role.
Our current IT team consists of: one full time secretary, one part time workflow/summariser, one part time data administrator and one full time data administrator. This post will enhance the current team and provide additional capacity to the team whilst at the same time leading on new projects such as AI technology. Neasham Road Surgery is a friendly informal but hard working practice with a patient list size of 13,500. We achieve well in QOF and are rated as good with CQC. The post-holder will assist the current IT team in ensuring the Practice is making best use of the IT to enable it to meet modernisation targets, maximise income and improve patient care.
