HSBC's Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division is one of the largest in the world, aspiring to be the #1 CIB globally. We are hiring an ISV Product Manager at the GCB4/VP level to oversee the ISV Bond product suite.

Role Overview

The Product Manager will manage the execution of product strategy, maintain, and operational support across the ISV Bond product suite. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders, expanding products into new markets, deploying new technologies, and gathering market intelligence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritise BAU product maintenance tasks, including documentation updates, minor enhancements, data requests and issue resolution.
  • Act as a key point of coordination between business and offshore product teams to drive implementation of product changes.
  • Ensure effective execution of product change requests and approvals in collaboration with technology/IT, Ops, and other functions.
  • Maintain and track the ISV product book‑of‑work; publish regular updates and MI on product development and management activity.
  • Contribute to product research, analysis, preparation of business cases, competitor analysis, and share intel with global product teams.
  • Maintain oversight of product artefacts to ensure accuracy and readiness for audit, regulatory, and governance purposes.
  • Track and report product maintenance activities and ensure appropriate escalation of risks or delays.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamlining and digitisation.
  • Future‑prove ISV product proposition by researching emerging technology with a view to implementing solutions in BAU environment.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a comparable role and a broad, comprehensive understanding of the International Debt Capital Markets, specifically issuance and bond lifecycle processes.
  • Knowledge of ISV products.
  • Knowledge and/or interest in Generative AI or API and understanding of how they are implemented – desirable.
  • Execution‑focused, with a proven record of commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening and negotiation.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage priorities effectively, and escalated matters in a timely manner.
  • Strong time‑management and presentation skills.
