Job description
Overview

A highly skilled outcome focused goal orientated NHS senior manager, with a breadth of clinical and managerial expertise. A clinician by background, with over 20 years’ experience and a strong track record in strategic leadership, operational change and project management in complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities
  • Managed weekly Programme/Portfolio Tracking and Liaison (PTL) meetings to ensure specialties were aware of their preset position and the impact on the wider organisation.
  • Expertly managed Emergency Department operations, including AEC and AAU, Gastroenterology, infectious disease and HIV at a large Acute Trust.
  • Managed complaints and local resolution meetings with families; developed weekly reports for trajectories of RTT and cancer performance at a Midlands-based Trust.
  • Supported organisations for preparedness of CQC inspections and provided support for the production of action plans for failing CQC inspections.
  • Worked with trusts nationally to implement a national programme of change to support the cancer agenda, using robust project tools to implement the programme.
  • Proven track record in strategic leadership, operational change and project management; competent at managing change in a complex environment and effective as a workforce planner and proactive pragmatic manager.
