Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with Kromek Group to recruit an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to take ownership of financial management, reporting, and controls across our Group during a period of change and growth.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and proven leadership within complex, multi-entity environments.

The Role

As Group Financial Controller, you will:

  • Oversee consolidated group financial reporting (IFRS/GAAP), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and manage statutory audits.
  • Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and governance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage treasury, cash flow, and FX exposure, ensuring balance sheet integrity.
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting cycle, providing variance analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership to provide strategic financial support and input on M&A, growth initiatives, and performance improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About You

We're looking for a hands-on senior finance professional who combines technical depth with strategic vision. You'll bring:

  • Qualified Accountant status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a group or multinational setting.
  • Strong consolidations and technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experience managing treasury, tax, and compliance.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board level.
