Robertson Bell is partnering with a housing developer who is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a critical role focused on owning and updating the organisation's 30-year business plan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the 30-year business plan
  • Work closely with the FP&A Manager and wider finance team to streamline and enhance the business planning process
  • Upskill the existing Finance Business Partner team on best practices for business planning
  • Liaise with the Treasury, Development, and other key stakeholders to ensure the business plan is fully integrated

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in business planning, ideally within the social housing sector
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence non-finance teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to identifying process improvements
  • Qualified accountant status (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on a critical area of the business. You'll need to be comfortable travelling to the Leeds office a couple of times per month, but the rest of your time can be spent working flexibly from home.
