A leading FMCG business in Northampton is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support the integration of two European businesses. The role is a contract for 3-6 months, hybrid (3 days in office), and requires proven experience in commercial finance along with advanced Excel skills. Overview

Interim Finance Business Partner — Northampton (Hybrid - 3 days in office). Contract Type: Interim (Inside IR35). Duration: 3-6 months. A leading FMCG business based in Northampton is looking for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support the integration of two European businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the UK and Europe to quantify, track, and report.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Procurement, and with external consultants/advisors.
  • Analyse large and complex data sets to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the realisation and tracking of project ROI and business case benefits.
  • Operate with discretion and professionalism in a highly confidential environment.
  • Provide clarity and structure when working with incomplete or evolving data.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, or similar role within an FMCG business.
  • Advanced Excel skills - confident working with large volumes of data and financial modelling.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and bring structure to evolving datasets.
  • Prior experience with benefit tracking, M&A integration, or ROI analysis is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
