Role: Testing/Repair Technician

Location: Templecombe

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical and Mechanical test operations as defined by routings, manufacturing instructions, test procedures and drawings
• Identify faults and recommend/propose rework activities for customer and developmental items
• Maintain necessary documentation as part of the build/repair process
• Ensure production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled production environment or similar
• Knowledge of integration of electro-mechanical assemblies
• Working within IPC standards
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
• Ability to follow processes and instructions
• Teamwork and collaboration within a manufacturing setting

This role requires SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not, the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
