The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as an Integrated Therapy Assistant based at Dilston College.

Main duties

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of the Occupational Therapy (OT) team and Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) team at Dilston College. This post combines clinical and administrative support roles: you will work directly with individual Young People or with groups to deliver therapy programmes under the direction of the senior OT or SaLT in educational and residential settings. You will support assessment of young people\'s communication needs and functional skills, report on progress, provide resource support, and contribute to the development of the Communication and Sensory Environment. You will receive regular supervision and, as part of the Cambian Clinical Service, be eligible for training.

We offer a multidisciplinary environment with a focus on early intervention, development and progression, and opportunities for regular clinical supervision and internal/external training on new initiatives.

Candidate profile: It is essential that the successful candidate has an interest in developing young people\'s communication and functional skills, and meeting communication and sensory needs. Previous work with Young People, preferably with special needs, is valued. Basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team are essential. A successful candidate will meet the person specification to be offered this post. Experience with ASD and/or LD and/or CAMHS is desirable.
