What\'s the Job About?

We are seeking a qualified Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in delivering engineering projects for onshore fuel pipelines and associated facilities.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Project Planning & Management: Manage project delivery from approval to commissioning. Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and HSSEQ standards. Prepare project plans and manage resources effectively.
  • Design & Engineering: Develop detailed control system designs and drawings. Conduct risk assessments and design reviews. Apply industry standards and engineering judgment to develop effective solution.
  • Communication & Coordination: Maintain direct contact with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate engineers, CAD operators, field staff, contractors, and suppliers. Support the Project Manager with issue reporting and resolution.
  • Procurement & Contract Management: Prepare tender documentation and evaluate bids. Monitor spend and approve invoices in line with project budgets.
  • Construction & Commissioning: Oversee site-based construction contracts. Collaborate with site teams to meet health and safety targets. Assist in developing commissioning strategies and plans.

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Electrical, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering

Experience in:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and commissioning control systems
  • Client-facing roles and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Tendering, budgeting, and producing technical documentation
  • Developing of I/O and instrument indexes
  • Data analysis and reporting abilities
  • Critical thinking, strong communication, teamwork and leadership abilities
  • A full and valid driving licence.

Salary

Basic salary of £35,000 – £67,000 (depending on experience, we are open to Graduate, Project, Senior or Principal / Chartered Engineers)
