A regional healthcare provider is seeking an Inpatient Health Care Assistant to support patient care in Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas. The role involves providing compassionate care while working under nurse supervision. Applicants should have health and social care experience and must be able to demonstrate their Maths and English qualifications. The position includes a rota-based shift system with opportunities for flexible working. Free parking is available at the sites.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues with Health and / or Social Care experience who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy whilst providing sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation services.

Our wards are led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold this and we actively encourage on-going development.

The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service and shifts will be 7.5 or 11.5 hours long.
