Information Security Analyst - Vulnerability Management (Stoke-on-Trent)

Role Summary

You’ll work within the Vulnerability Management team, ensuring IT systems are secure through continuous scanning and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning across business endpoints using industry-leading tools.
  • Schedule scans to meet reporting requirements while ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Analyze and assess risk from scan results; communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to meet scanning and remediation targets.
  • Integrate information security considerations into project lifecycles.
  • Liaise with governance and compliance stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Act as an escalation point when needed.
  • Create technical documentation and stay current on emerging threats.
  • Participate in audits when necessary.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of information/cyber security principles and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and risk evaluation.
  • Skilled in security-related technical investigations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security practices and emerging technologies.
