Job summary

A fast-growing software business is seeking an Information Governance Manager & Data Protection Officer to lead the company's approach to information governance and data protection. This role offers a fully remote setup with attractive compensation in the range of £50-60k along with bonuses and benefits. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Information Governance and experience advising senior stakeholders.

This is a pivotal hire, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of IG and data protection across a business that processes significant volumes of sensitive personal data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's approach to IG and data protection, acting as DPO.
• Manage the annual DSPT audit and ensure compliance with IG frameworks.
• Develop and deliver IG training and policies across the business.
• Work closely with key stakeholders, senior leadership, and customer teams.

You'll be supported by the Head of Legal and collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams, but you'll also have the autonomy to set direction and influence outcomes.
