  • Annual Salary/Benefits: Circa £41k+ pa: Staff Officer Grade post (£37,694 - £38,880) per annum plus the ICT Allowance of £3713 per annum. Plus public sector pension, annual leave, flexitime etc.
  • Location: Belfast City Centre, hybrid
  • Client: Invest NI - CST
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time (37 hours pw, typically Mon-Fri / 9-5)

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your foot in the door with a leading public sector organisation making a genuine and positive contribution to Northern Ireland. As an ICT Analyst, you'll be joining a small and very friendly IT Customer Service team, responsible for up to 750 users. They're a flexible and supportive organisation to work for, with a flexible hybrid working model, flexitime and more.

The ICT Team is responsible for maintaining an effective ICT service, balancing the needs of the business and individual with the compliance and security demands of the organisation. The highly motivated team of 23 report to the Head of Internal Operations.

The Information Communication Technology Team is further divided into Customer services, Infrastructure and Applications Teams as below.

You will provide outstanding customer service, dealing with IT problems and acting as a point of escalation for Invest NI's busy service desk team. You will play a key role in developing the skills of the front-line team, ensuring a world class service.

You will help support colleagues across local and international locations as part of a busy service desk function. You will provide senior technical advice and guidance and take responsibility for large projects and more significant technical challenges. You will report to the Customer Services Manager.

Requirements

Experience of providing ICT Support with a range of ICT Technologies including the below:

  • Software/Hardware/Network troubleshooting
  • Supporting Windows 10/11 desktop envrionment
  • Active Directory / Entra ID management
  • Automated deployments using SCCM / Intune and patching end user devices
