Overview

HVAC Package Manager - outside IR35 - North West

Are you currently working within the HVAC sector, with a strong understanding of package management, procurement and Design?

Are you based in the North West or happy to live/work away with regular attendance at head office?

We currently have an opportunity for a HVAC package Manager, this position is an outside IR35 contract and offers a generous day rate and immediate state.

Role Responsibilities
  • Liaise and work closely with the supply chain to manage all large bulk procurement items, ensuing compliance with project specifications and project standards.
  • Work alongside and coordinate with the project/design teams, ensuring procurement aligns with technical requirements and design deliverables.
  • As HVAC Package/Procurement Manager, you will work closely with the site teams to organise and confirm deliveries are sequenced correctly.
  • Manage and oversee all procurement documentation in line with QA/QC procedures.
  • Advise on smarter procurement strategies to achieve faster, cost effective ways of delivery without compromising on safety and quality.
  • Work closely with and report to the Project Director on procurement risks and opportunities.
  • Provide Technical input and advice in relation to HVAC systems.
  • Support Design, Procurement and manufacturing activities through independent review and technical challenge.
Qualifications and experience
  • Strong experience and understanding of HVAC systems
  • Proven experience in HVAC package management across design, procurement and delivery
  • An understanding of NEC form of contract would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Safety critical compliance and QA/QC requirements
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
