Humanities Teacher – Secondary School (11–16)

Location: Birmingham, B10
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 (MPS/UPS) or PAYE Day Rate
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Supply or Permanent for the right candidate

Do you have a passion for history, geography, and the stories that shape our world? This is an exciting opportunity for a Humanities Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school, teaching across KS3 and KS4.

We’re working with an Ofsted-rated “Good” schoolwhere Humanities plays a central role in the curriculum, encouraging students to think critically, engage with the past, and understand the world around them.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4 (History, Geography, and RE depending on specialism)
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring topics to life
  • Supporting students to achieve their best in GCSE examinations
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment within the Humanities faculty
  • Taking part in wider school activities, trips, and events

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in History, Geography, or RE
  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 essential
