Rate : £300-350 (inside IR35 via umbrella company)

Location : Cardiff (hybrid working)

Duration : 6-month initial contract (scope for extension)

An experienced People Operations Specialist is required to join a leading Retail Bank and help shape the future of the global workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Own the joiner–mover–leaver lifecycle with precision and compliance
  • Manage background screening and Right to Work checks across multiple regions
  • Partner with Workplace Technology to deliver smooth tech onboarding / offboarding
  • Support and deliver engaging onboarding sessions
  • Tackle high-volume employee queries and build clear FAQs
  • Maintain impeccable data accuracy across our HRIS and people systems
Required Experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth People Ops function
  • Strong knowledge of international HR practices and regulatory environments
  • Background in banking / financial services or other highly regulated sectors is desirable
  • A knack for improving and streamlining people processes
  • Proactive, detail‑driven, and calm in the chaos
  • Confidence working with candidates, employees, and cross‑functional teams
