HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Manchester (2 days office-based) + field coverage across Central & Northern England

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Remarkable Jobs are recruiting on behalf of an innovative, technology-led organisation with a strong presence across the UK. The business operates with a large field-based workforce of engineers and operatives, delivering services to clients across multiple sectors.

We are seeking a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. This is a dynamic position involving both office and field-based responsibilities, providing support across multiple regions while ensuring strong communication and coordination with the HR function based near Reading.

HRBP Role

As a HRBP, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and field-based teams, driving HR initiatives that support business goals. You will oversee HR activity across Central and Northern England, ensuring effective people management, compliance, and engagement, while being supported by the central HR team near Reading.

HRBP Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and best practice.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Manage employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Deliver training and coaching to managers, enhancing leadership capability.
  • Work closely with the Reading office to align HR initiatives with wider business strategy.
  • Contribute to HR projects covering engagement, performance, and organisational development.
What They Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven HRBP or HR Advisor experience, ideally across multi-site or field-based teams.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational support.

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards).
  • Experience in [insert relevant sector, e.g., facilities management, construction, or engineering].
