Job description

Overview:

We're working with a growing food manufacturing company in Lincolnshire that's looking to add an experienced HR Officer to its team.

In this role, you'll support the HR Manager and take an active part in the day-to-day running of the HR function. It's a hands-on position suited to someone who's confident handling a variety of HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the HR Manager with general HR operations
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of HR strategies
  • Coordinating recruitment processes, from screening to interviews
  • Managing onboarding and ensuring a smooth start for new employees
  • Maintaining HR systems and accurate employee records
  • Monitoring short-term sickness and supporting line managers with guidance

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar HR Officer or generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • CIPD Level 3 or 2+ years experience in the HR Function
  • Experience within Food Manufacturing, Fresh Produce or Agriculture is desirable.
  • Clear communication and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle sensitive issues professionally
