Role - HR Assistant (Operations)
Location - GCHSCP, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH
Contract Status - Temporary, up to August 2026

Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Human Resources team within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). Our Operations Team provide support and guidance to both employees and managers regarding the maintenance of employee records, workforce planning, recruitment and advertising, service reform and job evaluation.

Working within the HR administrative team, you will provide frontline administrative support and guidance across Social Work Services. You will report directly to the HR Officer and be responsible for a day to day workload to provide a comprehensive service. This role will involve call handling and the use of software such as Microsoft Office and SAP.

This opportunity allows you to be part of the ongoing development of the Human Resource function as a strategic part of the business and will provide you with valuable skills and experience to develop an exciting career pathway within Human Resources.

To succeed in this role you will need to be self-motivated and customer focused, possessing strong interpersonal and organisational skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels. Experience working in a HR environment is desirable.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 06 October 2025.
