A growing boutique investment manager in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to lead the revamping of their HR function. This stand-alone role will focus on improving HR policies, managing the employee lifecycle, and driving culture initiatives. Candidates should possess strong HR Generalist or Operations background, preferably within investment or infrastructure sectors. The firm offers a competitive package with a base salary of up to £120K plus bonuses and excellent benefits.
Our client, a very well established, rapidly growing boutique investment manager focusing on real estate, infrastructure development and commercial infrastructure investments is looking to hire an experienced HR Advisor to step into a newly created, stand alone role focused on revamping the firm’s HR function.
Joining a lean, collaborative team, the hire will be the first HR professional stepping into this role, created as the firm’s AuM and headcount has grown rapidly, and is projected to increase headcount by 35% in the next 18 – 24 months. The HR Advisor will take ownership of all areas of the employee lifecycle and HR operations delivery, whilst also actively working to update and improve HR policies across the board once he / she has a strong understanding of the landscape. The hire will work to drive improvements across the onboarding process, people safety and HR compliance polices, the employee handbook and take responsibility for using HRIS to make the function more data driven. As members of the team are located across the UK and US, the hire will drive people and culture initiatives, manage external rewards partners and also lead workforce planning and talent acquisition strategy (however, they will not be recruiting directly) as well as talent retention initiatives.
Candidates must have strong experience as a HR Generalist or a HR Operations Specialist, with a track record of being able to take on a high impact role in scaling businesses. The firm prefer candidates that have worked in infrastructure development or real estate investment firms; however, they are open to candidates from other industries.
This is a business critical and first-of-its-kind hire so the firm are looking to pay a very competitive total compensation package and have earmarked up to £120K base with significant bonus potential and fantastic benefits.
