East Suffolk Council are looking to recruit an HR Advisor to join our team based in Ufford, Suffolk. You will join us on a part‑time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £35,412 – £42,839 per annum pro rata (career grade).

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our busy team, working on supporting our HR service for East Suffolk Services Limited based at Ufford Depot, near Woodbridge.

You will provide responsive HR advice and support and will work in partnership with our customers and the team to deliver a highly effective, professional and pro‑active HR service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive HR advice and support to managers.
  • Support management in employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance, and absence management.
  • Recruit in designated service areas.
  • Manage occupational health cases to conclusion.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification, willingness to work towards Level 7.
  • Recent and relevant HR advisory experience.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong IT, communication, and customer service skills.
