Overview

We are working closely alongside a local authority in Ashfield to assist with the appointment of a Housing Officer on a 5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client\'s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £20.75 - £26.54 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Manage a patch of properties, ensuring effective tenancy and estate management in line with Council policies.
  • Conduct estate inspections, identifying issues such as repairs, maintenance, health and safety, and environmental concerns, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve cases of anti-social behaviour (ASB), working closely with tenants, residents, police, and other agencies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely case management and record-keeping using housing management systems.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.

  • Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, and best practice in tenancy and estate management.
