Overview

We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Local Housing Officer to cover Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in social housing and a passion for community service.

Position Details

Position: Local Housing Officer

Location: Brent

Salary: £29.12 per hour (Umbrella)

Job Type: Full-time / Temp Rolling Contract

Essential: Must be a car user with a valid driving licence and own vehicle

Role Overview

As a Local Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating housing and estate services within Brent and surrounding areas. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of our customers. You will be the face of our values, embodying care, dare, and collaboration in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate housing and estate services within a defined geographical area.
  • Act as a customer-facing representative, upholding our values across all tenures.
  • Coordinate both internal and external services to fully support our customers' diverse needs.
  • Engage in local initiatives and community projects, which may include occasional weekend work.
  • Continuously seek to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with the Local Authority and other Housing Association partners.
  • Handle customer complaints, estate services, tenancy management, enforcement, and lettings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
