Overview
Provide an exceptional, personalised cleaning service to our residence apartments and our estate by ensuring that designated areas are maintained to a clean, healthy & presentable standard. This includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces, as well as tasks like cleaning windows, polishing metal, and emptying bins to maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities.
Responsibilities
- Our apartments consist of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom living spaces. Our Housekeepers work towards designated schedules maintaining a pristine and organised living space for our residents.
- Cleaning apartments, including bathrooms and kitchens, reception, hallways, stairwells, working spaces, shared dining areas and other shared spaces.
- Organising living spaces, ensuring a tidy and uncluttered homely environment.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets and hard floors.
- Wiping down surfaces such as handrails, door handles, light switches, and furniture.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and other surfaces, polishing metal fixtures and surfaces.
- Periodically performing deep cleaning tasks like washing windows, shampooing carpets, or cleaning appliances.
- Disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Cleaning windows and glass doors.
- Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.
- Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to the property management team.
- Picking up litter from shared living spaces including external grounds.
- Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
- Be a point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite.
- Using a smart phone / tablet, record & manage each studio clean: each studio clean is to be photographed prior to, and at the end of each clean.
- Report any concerning behaviour of residents that could be an indication of welfare concern.
- Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to the Assistant Residence Manager or Residence Manager. Assist in ordering stock to maintain appropriate inventory.
- Housekeepers must understand and follow "Control of Substances Hazardous to Health" (COSHH) regulations to protect their health and safety when using cleaning chemicals.
- Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive & religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility from our Customer Service Assistants is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
Qualifications
- A well-versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi-room residence facilities such as luxury accommodation buildings, hotels or hospitals or office buildings.
- Technologically astute, able to support a variety of technology systems and software.
- Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices. Demonstrates a diverse and equal approach to colleagues and residents alike.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual skills welcomed.
- Adaptability, creativity & positivity.
- Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.
- Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.

Employment Details
Hourly Rate: £12.50.
Contract: Permanent, 20 hours per week.
Working Hours: 9am - 3pm.
