Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in local holiday homes. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors.
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens and other living spaces.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to policies.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the team leader.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned areas.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet cleaning targets and schedules.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts if needed.
Work Environment
- Physically demanding work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Driving licence not essential but preferable with own transport.
Hours
Flexible hours to be arranged on a weekly rota basis, main changeover days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
