Overview

History Teacher – Academics

Are you an experienced History teacher available for work in October 2025? Are you a qualified History teacher seeking a position at a secondary school in Scunthorpe and eager to help young people achieve and progress in your subject? Academics Ltd would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver History up to KS5 (preferred but not essential).
• Support students to achieve and progress in their knowledge and understanding of History.
• Work flexibly in a temporary/cover capacity within a secondary school setting.

Qualifications and experience

• Applications welcome from Early Career Teachers (ECT) and fully Qualified History Teachers.
• KS3–KS5 History Teacher – preferred.
• General History Specialist – preferred.
• Experience as Cover Supervisor, Support Worker, or as a recent Graduate is welcome.
