History teacher near Central London - Full Time
Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school near Central London who are seeking a History Teacher to work in their school permanently full-time. You will be required to deliver lessons that are engaging & that will challenge the classes in key stage 3 & 4.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Mark the work you teach and deliver regular feedback.
- Attend departmental meetings as and when required.

- Hours: 8:15 am-4:00 pm (term time only)
- Minimum rate of pay: in line with your main pay scale
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher of History
- Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Teacher of History at key stage 3 and 4
- Hold a valid & recognised teaching qualification
- Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
- Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
- You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis; the role is open to ECTs and more experienced teachers. You will be required to commit to the role in its entirety.

- Possess an enhanced child barred list. DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
