A leading engineering firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a Highways Maintenance Operative Apprentice in Kettering. This role includes hands-on maintenance tasks, support for emergency operations, and professional mentorship. Candidates must have a valid UK driving license and be 18 or older. Starting Salary : £28,729 (Subject to review)
Location : Pytchley, NN15 6XS/ Rothersthorpe Depot, M1 Northbound Services, Junction 15, NN49QS
Working hours per week: Monday - Friday, Days and Nights. 07:00 - 15:00 Days, 19:00 - 05:00 Nights. 45hrs/week
Start date : April 2026
Apprenticeship Link: Lead traffic management operative / Skills England
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Lead Traffic Management Operative level 2 apprenticeship which will take approximately 21 months to complete. You will be fully supported by our partnered training provider to achieve this qualification, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
