Qualifications

• Background in civil engineering design.
• Experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects within the highways sector.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical reviews of designs.
• Assist in programming and supervising technical staff.
• Design and implement traffic management and road safety schemes.
• Promote strategies for cycling, walking, and community safety.
• Advise on temporary arrangements for major road works.
• Supervise monitoring of expenditure.
• Assist with appointing and supervising consultants.
• Deputise for the Senior Engineer when necessary.
