Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you a higher-level teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team in a primary school in Plumsted, Greenwich. We require a strong and experienced higher-level teaching assistant who can assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs. You will be covering planned absences and allow teachers time to plan and mark. You will be covering a Year 4 class most afternoons and also a small class of SEN children delivering interventions.

In this role, one of your main responsibilities will be to deliver the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils, school policies and strategies. No planning will be required for this role.

You will also be asked to work both independently and collaboratively with teaching staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will deliver learning to individuals, small groups, and whole classes as and when required within agreed systems of supervision.
